A blend exists because pure bamboo viscose is wonderful to touch and awkward to live with. It absorbs a lot of water, it dries slowly, and a loose knit will grow in the wash and never quite come back. Cotton brings dimensional stability and dry strength; the bamboo brings the hand feel that made you ask in the first place.

The ratio is the product. A 70/30 bamboo-cotton knit is a different garment from a 50/50, and both are sold under the same three words on most sites. We quote the exact split alongside the knit weight in GSM, because those two numbers together are what a buyer can actually reorder against a year later.
